International Photography Exhibition
The judging for the International Police Association, International Photography Exhibition for 2007-2008 has been completed and the winners have been decided. The photographs are now available for viewing. The competition was hosted by the New Zealand Section on behalf of the International Cultural Commission.
IEC and World Congress Meetings
2008
16-21 September - 35th IEC Conference, Moscow , Russia
A Friendship week follows for 3 days in Moscow and 4 days in St Petersburg.
2009
XIX World Congress - Turkey (Further details will be notified when venue arrangements have been made).
2010
7-12 September - 36th IEC Conference, Paris, France
Unanimous approval was given to the French motion to hold the 2010 Conference in Paris.
International Youth Gatherings
2008
Australia
The Australian motion received unanimous acceptance to host the IYG in three States. The young people would look at the indigenous history; the Victoria gold rush; Sydney harbour and the Blue Mountains ; a visit to the outback where the Section promises not to lose them! Finally, to Queensland where they can surf and swim with dolphins.
