The aim of the competition is to collect video material from all IPA sections around the world and to create an international IPA movie data bank, enabling us to produce an international IPA film that will show our activities around the globe.

The intended outcome of the project is to obtain high-quality videos from a wide variety of sections, and then use selected parts of the competition videos to produce an information video about the IPA which can subsequently be distributed to all IPA sections as a promotional and recruiting aid, and will also feature on the IAC website as well as national websites.

The IPA Video Competition will be launched during the IPA World Congress 2016 in New Zealand, and will conclude at the IPA World Congress 2018. We would like to announce this project early to allow sections time to obtain video footage from events held within their countries, in order to prepare their formal competition entries.

There will be 3 cash awards (400 €, 300 € and 200 € respectively), as well as merit awards.

The deadline for submitting video footage will be 1 March 2018.
