Small town, great heart - sunny and dry and relaxing - that is Central Otago’s Blossom town Alexandra. Famous for it’s clock on the hill, many rabbits and wine growing - this town of about 5,000 is a great place to holiday. Freezing in the winter and endless sun in the summer, Alexandra has great patronage in the summer months for wining, dining, swimming and sunbathing, while in the winter, ice-skating, and curling and nearby skiing is on the list of must-dos. Worth a visit.
