History of IPA National Sections
The US Section will hold its 50th Anniversary in 2012 and planning has already begun. US Treasurer, Kevin Gordon, is serving as the committee chair and is working on a US Section history. He would like to include some historical information on each National Section. If any Section can provide a brief history of their respective section, please contact Kevin at treasurer@ipa-usa.org.
Former PEB Reunion
The May Newsletter included a report on a reunion of former PEB members, which had taken place in April, organised by former ISG Alan Carter and his wife Mary. Everyone was very pleased to be joined by Phyllis Nolan from Ireland, who was an International Vice President from 1982 to 1994, but unfortunately her name was omitted from the list of participants. Phyllis was particularly welcome as the only female member of the PEB prior to the most recent elections in 2006. Sincere apologies to Phyllis for this omission.
