Region Two Enjoy a Mid-Winter Lunch
On Sunday 21st July 2007, Region 2 held a Mid-Winter lunch at the Prince Albert Hotel, Cambridge where there was a good turn out of members, both retired and operational. We were also joined by the National Secretary, Stan Keith and the National Treasurer, Greg McManus and their wives, who drove down from Auckland to be with us.
Region 2 Chairperson, Sam Harris thanked everyone for coming and thanked Ian Winters for kindly arranging the lunch.
The wet weather was very indusive for us to remain inside the warm hotel and chat with some new and old friends. Everyone appeared to enjoy themselves and it was agreed that we should make this an annual function.
