Region Three - Central and Eastern Districts
Region Three of the New Zealand Section of the IPA includes the Central and Eastern Districts (North Island, New Zealand). Have you ever been to New Plymouth? Well why not!? Do you know where Mt Taranaki is?
There is plenty to do in the region, a visit to Pukekura Park and the coastal walkway which stretches approx 7 kms along the coast. Both of these attractions are right in the heart of the City of New Plymouth. Events held in the region include The Mountain to Surf Marathon held in early March, The Daily News Half Marathon held on 1st Sunday of October (both annually). Also The Americana Car Show held for the first time this year was a huge success and will be held again in March 2008.
Region Three is active socially as a group. We have approximately 100 police and non-police members, so contact the secretary to find out how to join up and join in.
